Abusive Buyers
Buyers among the SportGoods+ platform may not misuse or abuse actions including but not limited to:
- Harassment: Any form of harassment, including verbal abuse, threats, or intimidation towards sellers or to staff at SportGoods+ will not be tolerated.
- Fraudulent Claims: Making false claims or providing misleading information to exploit the return or refund process is fraudulent behavior.
- Excessive Demands: Continuously making unreasonable demands, such as requesting refunds for non-existent issues or demanding discounts.
- Unjustified Negative Feedback: Leaving unjustified negative feedback with the intention of harming a seller's reputation, rather than providing constructive feedback
- False Return Requests: Creating a return request and sending back a different item
Consequences of Abusive Behavior:
If a buyer engages in abusive behavior as outlined above, we may take the following actions:
- Warning: The buyer may receive a warning notifying them that their behavior is not acceptable.
- Account Suspension: In certain cases, we may suspend the buyer's account temporarily or permanently.
- Loss of Buyer Protections: Buyers who engage in abusive behavior may lose certain buyer protections, such as the ability to make returns or disputes.
- Legal Action: In rare cases, we have the right to pursue legal action against the abusive buyer.
Reporting Abusive Behavior:
If you encounter abusive behavior from a buyer, we encourage you to report it to our customer support team immediately. We take all reports of abusive behavior seriously and will investigate each case thoroughly.
